That is an eternity when you look back at what Caledonia has accomplished over the past two years. Quarterback Owen King told me earlier this week — the Warriors biggest worry was Barnesville’s size. The Man Child Ezekiel Ott and the defense divyed out some bone crushing hits. Force five turnovers. King, Ben McCabe and Andrew Goregon handle the track meet on offense. I am just proud of the way we got it back and got it rolling. We know we are not always going to be up, so we talk a lot about it. We do a lot of mental thinking. how we are going to handle it. Couldn’t be prouder. Just remembered everything we had been practicing for…What we were fighting for and just calm down and take a deep breath and know what you are going to do. We plan every week to play a good game, play a close game so we were ready for it. ?? What do you think about Eden Valley-Watkins in the prep bowl??” You know we played them in 2005 so. um. we are looking forward to it. If that smirk from Carl Fruechte doesn’t scare you. you are tougher than I am. Do you think he forgot about the 2005 state title loss to Eden Valley-Watkins the team Caledonia sees again next week?? Not a chance. What a day to set up what should be an amazing Friday next week. Caledonia plays for the Class two-A state title at one p-m. Followed by Winona playing for the four-A state title at four. Back to you Gregg.
