Football News: Man City VAR: The proof Sergio Aguero goal vs Swansea WAS offside – where was VAR?

Sergio Aguero popped up with a winning header just minutes from full time to sink Swansea hearts  The Swans had led 2-0 against Premier League champions City before Pep Guardiola’s side sparked a comeback  Yet Aguero can count himself lucky for avoiding the lineman’s flag with his goal at the Liberty Stadium  As these TV pictures from BT Sport prove, Aguero was clearly in an offside position when the cross came in for his goal  Yet the assistant referee missed it – and there was not VAR being used in the game  VAR has been used in the FA Cup this season. But not in every game. Swansea’s stadium did not have VAR technology installed for this game  Yet Watford’s clash with Crystal Palace and Wolves’ late fixture against Manchester United both facilitate VAR  Those are the two stadiums where Premier League clubs are playing in the quarter-finals of the competition  VAR cameras are installed at all Premier League grounds, so the facilities are used by the FA during their Cup games  Manchester City are now in the pot for the FA Cup semi-final draw.

  1. This is extremely so terrible and this is clearly Manchester City bought this victory which they have doing for 11 years on most of their controversial decisions!!!Seriously, the Financial Fair Play system alone is not going hinder them from corrupting with the officials to buy more victories and titles till they are being inspected by FA,FIFA and UEFA for pumping their ways to success which has made the football in England to be meaningless to watch as a lot of the corruptions which have been happening because of them together with most of the leagues in Asia!!!
