DEATH PENALTY FOR ROBERT BOWERS. BACK TO YOU. A FORMER DOCTOR FOR THE PENN STATE FOOTBALL TEAM IS NOW SUING THE UNIVERSITY AND THE FOOTBALL COACH, JAMES FRANKLIN. BOB POMPEANI IS FOLLOWING THE STORY AND JOINS US LIVE WITH THE DETAILS OF THE LAWSUIT. BACK IN FEBRUARY THIS YEAR PENN STATE UNIVERSITY DECIDED TO CHANGE LEADERSHIP FOR THEIR ATHLETIC MEDICINE DEPARTMENT WHICH OVERSEES CARE FOR THEIR ATHLETES. DR. SCOTT LYNCH WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THAT DEPARTMENT SUDDENLY FOUND HIMSELF OUT OF A JOB. WITH THAT CHANGE THE DOCTOR TODAY FILED A LAWSUIT IN DAUPHIN COUNTY COURT ALLEGING HEAD FOOTBALL COACH JAMES FRANKLIN WAS BEHIND HIS OUSTER. IN HIS LAWSUIT DR. SCOTT LYNCH CLAIMS FRANKLIN PRESSURED HIM TO CLEAR PLAYERS TO RETURN TO THE FIELD BEFORE THEY WERE READY.
