NFL Fantasy Football Starters and Sleepers – Who to pick in Week #2

Hey, this is Jason. This is Travis, and we are the QBs on Wheels. Speaking of QBs, today’s episode is our
fantasy episode. We talk to fantasy guru, Travis. QBs… The best QB last week
was a surprise. Lamar Jackson scored 33 and a half fantasy points. what do you think of him this week. well they play Arizona and I think he’s
a start. I think he’s a for sure starter He had some good throws this past
week and if he can keep that up man he’s gonna be dangerous
because he’s he’s an all-around athlete so I think he will be alright. -Who else you watching as far as QBs go?
Um, DeShaun Watson. He hurt his look like he hurt his back he came back
in and phenomenal they played Jacksonville this week I
think Deshaun Watson some one to watching someone to watch and Cam Newton Thursday Night
Football they play Tampa Bay Tampa Bay is Tampa Bay I mean they’re not really
that great and i think Cam Newton
will have a good game, yea Tampa Bay definitely is not the team that’s going to be able to hold
Cam Newton in the pocket and also prevent runs so they’re gonna have to make a
choices and either way Cam will take advantage of that, speaking of running
Christian McCaffrey had an amazing game 42.9 points what do you think of him?
like I said about Cam Newton they play Tampa Bay and I I don’t
think he skip a beat I think he’s gonna I think he’s gonna get right back into
and he’s gonna he might not have a 40-point game but he’s definitely a
solid start well they were saying at the beginning of the season that he would be the first
and second down back but what i’m hearing now is that they are going to make him a every down back for the rest of the season they just aren’t happy with the rest of the
the running core they’re who else you got for running backs to look at um
with Melvin Gordon out I think Austin Ekeler are safe pick they play the
lions this week the Lions didn’t look terrible but their defenses isn’t nothing
special so I think Austin Ekeler will be a good start ,Ekeler
did well enough to that they’re not any more motivated to set up Gordon with a
contract I got a couple maybe maybe not sleepers now but they were before week
one and now they’re like my surprise guys Josh Jacobs from the Oakland
Raiders he killed it last night he looked like he was a veteran player and
he’s a rookie so and they played the Chiefs now the Chiefs have a decent
defense but I think that he’ll be alright I think he’s a good start, think a lot of teams will have Josh Jacobs still available the add in a lot of leagues after I seen him play the way did my shortage on running backs I actually went right in
and looked and my league he got picked up like the fifth round so he wasn’t
available I didn’t even know nothing about him might be available on a couple different
leagues but I doubt it Damian Williams is another one Kansas
City Chiefs they got a good passing attack but it’s open up the
passing game you need a good running back and he did pretty good he did
alright and they play the Raiders and the Raiders don’t have the best defense
so I think he’s another start this week well I’m Sammy Watkins had 198 yards and three TD’S so just as long as he dose that every week I think he’ll be a good player no
but you cant get that outta him every week but what do you think of him in general is
going to be a fantasy star the rest of season too – um yeah I don’t think you’re
gonna expect that every game I think he could squeeze out double-digit points
every week with with Tyree Hill going down I think I think he’s now the number
one receiver there so and Patrick Mahomes is Patrick Mahomes yeah I think all right what do think
about the who else is that on your WR watchlist well with Sammy Watkins there’s another cat on the Kansas City Chiefs Mecole
Hardman and he runs just as fast Tyree Hill and with Tyreke Hill out I think he
might step in there that’s my that’s my little sleeper pick and James Washington
for the Pittsburgh Steelers I also wanted to see him as a sleeper pick they
didn’t look good against Bill Belichick defense but I think they’re gonna come
back and they’re gonna they’re gonna do alright they play the Seahawks the
Seahawks have a decent defense but they don’t have a good secondary so I think
James Washington’s another guys start this week and Allen Robinson Chicago
Bears number one receiver he had like he didn’t have a touchdown but he had like
117 yards or something like that against Green Bay and Green Bay’s defense has definitely improved since last year so if he can do that against
Green Bay I don’t see why I couldn’t do that against Denver cuz Denver looked pretty sloppy last night so yea he didn’t have a lot of fantasy points but he had a great game a lot
yards so the end zone a couple of times he could add a lot of points TE’S
Ingram was the leading TE with the Giants you think that’s hold up
or is that a fluke he actually he said he’s ranked and they’ve been talking
about him being the number one tight end the whole season so I think that might
stick just because they don’t have they don’t have too many options between him
and Saquon like they don’t really have too many more options so yes I
think that’s gonna stick I think he’s a sure start every week and last but not leased defenders the 49ers actually put up the best fantasy
points last week do you have a favorite defense? I did i though Pittsburgh defense was going to be alright but obliviously didn’t look to hot I think the Rams the Rams could have a good defense all year the Saints I mean the Saints didn’t
look that great but they I think they could do good things this year
and where the Niners, Titans and Jets were the only the only defense is
to put up 15 points or more Tiants surprised me yeah all three of them were not on our
list of great d’s Tennessee’s defense I would definitely keep an eye on them
i’d start them if did that if they shut down that offense I know that they got all
the pieces this year so they need a little more time to get on sync with
each other but if they did that to that offense they could do that all year
it’s early but we’ll see I’m gonna throw one kicker in there just because holy clutch and that’s Will Lutz of the Saints there’s nothing like kicking a 58 yards with 0.0 seconds left on the clock to win the game so well done don’t know
that that means much for fantasy but a you gotta love that guy just fun to watch 58 yard field goal is definitely I
think a field goal periods obviously three points but I think you get
extra points for how long they are so yeah definitely did good good games and more to come so that’s our fantasy wrap up for this week and we’ll be back manyana WERE OUT
